Our faculty members work closely with large corporations, family businesses, startups and NGOs. Through teaching, consulting and board activities, our faculty remains in touch with the strategic problems that IT organizations face. Through their teaching and other activities, our faculty is exposed to different perspectives at all levels within companies. The faculty uses this real-world knowledge to augment their academic training.

Our professors have a passion for sharing their knowledge, and they truly enjoy working with students. In the classroom, the faculty challenges the students and engages them in a dialogue that enables effective dissemination of knowledge. In our online learning platform, our faculty has provided some of the most engaging content available in the industry to train entry-level personnel.

Dr. K R V Subramanian (Raja)
Raja has served as Professor of Computer Science and Dean of Distance Learning at the prestigious Birla Institute of Technology & Science (BITS) in Pilani, India - considered one of the top 5 universities for higher learning in India. During his tenure as Dean, the distance learning programs grew multifold in terms of revenue, number of degree programs, student enrolment, etc. He conceptualized and initiated the BITS Virtual University—one of the first of its kind in India at that time.

Raja has to his credit, a unique blend of academic and corporate experience where he has led from the front for over 28 years. His interests on the technical side include diverse areas such as software engineering, object technology, software architecture, instructional design, and eLearning. He has also served as Director and Secretary in the prestigious International Board of Standards for Training, Performance & Instruction (www.ibstpi.org). Raja holds a Master’s Degree in Economics, a Master’s Degree in Computer Science, and a Ph.D. in Computer Science.

P S Krishna Kumar (Krish)
Krish has over 11 years of experience in the IT industry. Krish was part of the founding team at Ascendum Systems, a successful mid-size IT services company operating out of Bangalore. He shaped the business operations at Ascendum into a highly reliable delivery vehicle that has been the delight of customers. At Ascendum Systems, he served various roles in Operations, Client Services, Business Development and Sales. He brings to the table tremendous experience in strategic selling, business development and solution deployment. He has worked in multiple domains including Knowledge Management, Application Development & Maintenance, Lifecycle Product Management, Internet Content Provisioning & Portals, and Learning Solutions. He has also actively participated in infrastructure planning, talent scouting & transformation, resource deployment, quality management and nurturing business alliances.

Prior to joining Ascendum, Krish has worked at the Center for Software Development at BITS, Pilani being one of the principal architects of India’s first Virtual University. Krish holds a Master’s Degree in Physics and a Master’s Degree in Software Systems from BITS, Pilani.

G. Padmanabhan (Paddy)
Paddy has over 2 decades of experience in the IT industry, in areas of people management, project management, product development, application development, testing and porting. He also has a lot of experience in customer support, training, pre-sales, post-sales and implementation. He has worked extensively in the global development model and with global teams.

Vaidhyanathan Venkiteswaran (Vaidhy)
Vaidhy has over ten years of experience in finance, product management, delivery, sales operations and corporate planning. He has been involved in transforming multiple companies from startup stage to successful businesses. His experience includes a term at Nielsen BuzzMetrics as Vice President of Sales Operations and Corporate Planning. Prior to that, he co-founded and headed the products team at Vinimaya, a software company in the eProcurement space. Vaidhy has an MBA from IIM Bangalore and holds an Engineering degree in Electronics and Computer Science from BITS Pilani.
