Through teaching, consulting and board activities, our faculty remains in touch with the strategic problems that IT organizations face. Through their teaching and other activities, our faculty is exposed to different perspectives at all levels within companies. The faculty uses this real-world knowledge to augment their academic training.

Dr. K R V “Raja” Subramanian founded Radix Learning along with a team of professionals who share a passion for creating innovative & effective learning solutions and services. Prior to Radix Learning, Dr. Subramanian co-founded Ascendum Systems (www.ascendum.com) in March 2000. Before that, Dr. Subramanian served as Professor of Computer Science and Dean of Distance Learning at the prestigious Birla Institute of Technology & Science (BITS) in Pilani, India - considered one of the top 5 universities for higher learning in India. During his tenure as Dean, the distance learning programs grew multifold in terms of revenue, number of degree programs, student enrolment, etc. He conceptualized and initiated the BITS Virtual University—one of the first of its kind in India at that time.
Dr. Subramanian has to his credit, a unique blend of academic and corporate experience where he has led from the front for over 28 years. His interests on the technical side include diverse areas such as software engineering, object technology, software architecture, instructional design, and eLearning. He has also served as Director and Secretary in the prestigious International Board of Standards for Training, Performance & Instruction ( www.ibstpi.org). Dr. Subramanian holds a Master’s Degree in Economics, a Master’s Degree in Computer Science, and a Ph.D. in Computer Science. |

Vaidhyanathan Venkiteswaran (Vaidhy)
Vaidhy has over ten years of experience in finance, product management, delivery, sales operations and corporate planning. He has been involved in transforming multiple companies from startup stage to successful businesses. His experience includes a term at Nielsen BuzzMetrics as Vice President of Sales Operations and Corporate Planning. Prior to that, he co-founded and headed the products team at Vinimaya, a software company in the eProcurement space. Vaidhy has an MBA from IIM Bangalore and holds an Engineering degree in Electronics and Computer Science from BITS Pilani. |
Dr. Gopalaswamy Ramesh is an independent consultant and an adjunct professor at IIIT-B and a number of other premier institutions. He has more than 30 years of experience in industry, most of it with Oracle in the Far East, US and India. He was instrumental in setting up Oracle’s India Development Center in Bangalore and was the Senior Director of Oracle IDC, growing it from zero to more than 400. He is the author of best selling books Managing Global Software Projects, Software Testing Principles and Practices and Software Maintenance. The first book won the National Best Book Award in India. Two of these books have also been translated to Chinese. His most recent book The ACE of Soft Skills has been used as a prescribed text book for professional development workshops and courses in several institutions including IIT/Madras. He has been a regular speaker and chair / organizer in a number of international conferences. He is a member of the Academic Advisory Group of Project Management Institute (PMI), India and heads the editorial board of the quarterly journal of Software Process Improvement Network (SPIN), Chennai. He consults for a number of companies in India and abroad. His interest areas include Software Engineering, Software Project Management and Soft Skills in the context of global teams. He has taught these subjects in several leading academic institutions including IIIT/Bangalore, IIT/Madras, IIM/Bangalore, Amrita School of Business, XLRI, Jamshedpur and SRM University, Chennai. Ramesh holds a BE in Electronics and Communication Engineering from IISc, Bangalore, MS in Computer Science from IIT/Madras and MS in Engineering Management from Stanford University, USA.

Shakeel Ali
Shakeel Ali has over 15 years of software development experience and 10 years of corporate training experience. He conducts training programs a variety of topics such as Java, J2EE, JSP/Servlets, ASP.NET Webforms, C#, WPF, MVC framework, Javascript, AJAX, VC++, etc.
He was part of Mr.Yashvant Kanetkar's team that authored various books relating to VC++. He is currently the CEO of Leadows Technologies, a software services company based in Bangalore.
He has conducted training programs at various organizations including ABB, Accenture, AOL, Capgemini, CDAC, Cisco, HP, i-Gate, IIIT-B, L&T, Lucent Technologies, Morgan Stanley, Nokia, Philips Electronics, Samsung, SAP Labs, Sasken, Siemens and Wipro.
